Beehive Frame
Identification Standard

This page serves as notice and plea for any and all manufacturers of beehive frames.
The Beehive Frame Identification Standard and Symbols below are the creation of Forrest L. Breese, CEO of Forest Bees. Anyone making Langstroth frames for resale is urged to please use these symbols. Forrest L. Breese allows free use as a courtesy to help establish a frame identification standard. Realizing that the introduction of our NF32 frames will create two frame sizes for beekeepers, we want to be proactive and help curb frame ID confusion for the working beekeeper. We added the third size to complete the standard based on people using larger frames for the honey supers.
